"I’m ashamed to say this, and for hiding it from you all but yes i am the Former Queen of our country ousted by the pretender who now sits atop the throne after slaying my husband, at first we just ran looking for a break to rest and recover but after seeing what this new king does to his own people... it makes my blood boil so, i intend to go back to the capital, to take back our lands, to reclaim the throne in the name of the kingdom not in the name of the rebellion which has caused so much pain!" <Serena>
The village’s current population more than doubled after the captives from the other villages were freed and collectively their spirits were alighted at the Queen’s speech.
Discussions were held again through the night and by morning it was agreed that not just the men but also some women who volunteered would serve in the reclamation army under Serena’s command, riders were sent out to announce the formation of this army, and people likewise headed back to the capital to spread the news that the Queen was coming for the tyrant’s head.
