The Billionaire's Rental Wife Is A Hot Shot

Chapter 70: Rented For Lifetime

Zevian’s eyes widened as Evelyn yanked him closer, her lips capturing his in a sweet yet electrifying kiss. His grip tightened on her waist, fingers digging into her top as heat flared between them.

Evelyn pulled back slightly after a small peck, her eyes fluttering open to meet his gaze. For a split second, time seemed to stop—emotions swirling in their eyes, too strong to ignore.

Then, without a word, Zevian reclaimed her lips in a fervent kiss. Startled, Evelyn’s body tensed, a soft gasp escaping her as his wet lips crashed into hers. This was no gentle peck—it was heated, passionate, and urgent.

Zevian kissed her as though he had been waiting for this forever, and Evelyn’s body instinctively responded. Her knees weakened and she shifted in his lap, straddling him. She could feel his body tense beneath her, his warmth radiating into her, clouding her mind with thoughts of nothing but him.

Zevian’s hand found the back of her neck, his fingers slipping through her hair as he tilted her head, deepening the kiss. Evelyn closed her eyes, surrendering to him fully. Her hands slid into his raven-black hair, pulling him even closer. Every light brush of his lips, every teasing peck on her lower lip, sent shivers down her spine, making her squirm with need.

His lips trailed down to her jaw, pressing soft kisses along her skin before lowering to her neck. A shiver ran through her as his lips settled in the crook of her neck, his warm breath tickling her sensitive skin. She leaned back, giving him full access, feeling his lips suck gently, drawing out soft gasps from her as her need for him grew.

Evelyn’s grip tightened in his hair, her body responding instinctively to his touch. Then, Zevian’s hand, once gripping her waist, slipped under her top, startling her. His fingers traced slow, deliberate lines up her back, each touch sending waves of heat coursing through her. When his fingers brushed the edge of her bra, teasing the lace, her breath hitched in her throat.

Suddenly, Evelyn flinched.

Her body tensed, her heart skipping a beat as hesitation gripped her. Fear, or perhaps uncertainty, flickered in her eyes. Zevian stopped immediately, his lips leaving a warm trace on her skin as he pulled back. Their eyes met briefly before Evelyn’s gaze lowered, a flush of shyness—or maybe guilt for ruining the moment—spreading across her cheeks.

Evelyn shifted, trying to climb off him, but Zevian gently held her in place, his arms wrapping around her as though he couldn’t bear to let her go. He sighed softly, leaning back on the couch, allowing her to rest against his chest.

For a moment, they stayed like that—hearts racing, breaths shallow, still wrapped in the warmth of their shared kiss. It felt nostalgic, a mirrored memory of their first heated moment. Back then, Evelyn had reacted the same way, and just as he did now, Zevian had stopped immediately—patient, understanding.
