By some stroke of luck, the introductory combat class ended after that fight. Instructor Kai seemed satisfied with everyone’s performance but explained that they couldn’t continue since it was already late.
Needless to say, the Aspirants were notably disappointed that they didn’t get to see the conclusion of Adrian and Miguel’s fight.
It was a battle between the top-ranking Aspirants! Of course, they were excited to see who would win!
In the end, they got cockblocked by the Instructor, but Klaus didn’t share their frustration. He was simply relieved that he didn’t have to fight.
Perhaps he could finally see that he was lucky.
The rest of the Aspirants quickly headed for the showers, some of whom smelled like shit after getting their asses beat. Adrian also went to wash up, having worked up a sweat.
Since Klaus hadn’t participated in today’s sparring matches, he simply headed for his dorm room alone.
The time was currently [8:05 PM].
Classes were over, and the Aspirants were free to do whatever they wanted. However, they were supposed to have ended some time ago. Perhaps time had flown by without anyone noticing due to the intense duels, and when Instructor Kai finally realized this, he abruptly ended the class.
Well, it wasn’t all bad; there was still time to experience the academy’s nightlife.
