The moment the Queen slammed her palm into the icy ground, everything changed.
The clear blue sky above them darkened as if a storm was rolling in but Ethan knew what was happening, he had seen something similar from Selena but slightly different.
The green grass beneath Ethan’s feet turned pale and cold. Ice spread quickly across the land like a wave, freezing the ground, trees, and even the air. Frost covered everything.
Ethan looked around with a smile on his face, they were no longer in the grassy field, instead the Queen had pull them into her domain.
But unlike Selena domain, this one was a little more aggressive, snowflakes drifted down from the sky, and the icy wind howled like it had a life of its own.
Maybe back then Selena was just holding back since she didn’t want to fight, but now the Queen wanted to fight a real battle and this just confirmed that she was now serious.
Ethan knew about magical domain, it felt like there were in a world of her own making but to the outsider watching, they were just in a large ball surrounded by ice and held together by Mana.
"So this is your domain..." Ethan muttered. His breath came out as a mist.
The Queen stood across from him, her hair now moving with the wind and a large smile formed on her face, she wasn’t happy because of her domain, she was happy because Ethan wasn’t surprised in the least, this meant her had seen or being in a domain before.
"You’re not getting out of this easily now," she said, raising her hand.
Ice gathered around her like a shield, swirling with wind magic, Ethan knew her attacks could come from anywhere since there were in her domain.
