Chapter 292 - 293 Royal Guards
Ethan walked through the portal and appeared close to the palace.
He wasn’t at the palace gates since, so he had to walk all the way to the gate, which was far ahead.
"Hey there, what business do you have?" The first guard that saw Ethan asked as she stopped him.
"I’m a guest of the princess, my name is Ethan, I came some..."
"Oh, forgive me, I have seen you in the palace before, when did you leave?" The guard asked and Ethan smiled without answering.
The guard didn’t push the issue further and escorted Ethan back to the palace gates as there were both guards around. It was a long walk to the palace gates, but they finally arrived.
The guards at the gates opened it up, and Ethan passed through; he already knew his way around since this was his third time here, but instead of going inside the palace, Ethan walked around the palace instead.
He could hear sounds of steel clashing; his heightened senses were already like a passive skill to him; since he could hear sounds like that, some of the guards were most likely training.
Ethan walked around till he found the spot; at the back of the palace, there was a training ground; it was big enough for ten people to spar simultaneously, but only two people were sparring while the rest watched.
Ethan didn’t draw any attention to himself. Instead, he just stood in a corner where he could see them clearly; two girls were going at it; both of them wore only undergarments covering their chest, but it was well placed and wrapped around their shoulders like a sports bra and they wore pants.
It wasn’t a practice sword but a real sword instead, and from the way they fought, he knew they were skilled.
