"Isabella," Ethan muttered, and her eyes fluttered open; Dora immediately rushed towards her, healing her wounds.
The Queen turned her attention to Selena. "So, Selena, what have you been teaching her?" she asked, her tone calm but curious.
Selena, standing beside her, raised an eyebrow at the question. "Me? I don’t teach first-year students, Your Majesty. In fact, I don’t teach at all," she replied.
The Queen gave her a knowing look. "No, I meant before the academy. You think I don’t know you were involved in her training. So, can you help her control this... ability?"
Selena turned away, clearly not expecting the conversation to take this turn. "Control her powers? Yes, I can teach her that. But controlling the goddess who seems to possess her? That’s beyond me. I had no idea the goddess of ice could even take over her body," Selena explained.
The Queen nodded thoughtfully. "I just want you to train her, personally. I’m sure it won’t be too much trouble, right?"
"Of course not, Your Majesty. I’ll take care of it," Selena assured her with a slight bow.
As the Queen’s attention drifted, she added casually, "Just like every mating season, you don’t need a male, right? I think it’s time the three of you think of children."
Maria, standing nearby, was the first to respond, "I don’t want children, Your Majesty."
"I’m not ready yet," Crimson added.
