Chapter 131 - 132 Spirit Beasts
A portal opened and Hannah stepped inside, Ethan was already dressed and was checking out the clothes when Hannah came back, she was also dressed and both of them exited after Ethan had stolen two of the nicest clothes.
They appeared outside of the red light district and Ethan looked over, Hannah had a large smile on her face as she and Ethan walked to the academy.
"We didn’t introduce ourselves yet, my name is Hannah, I’m sure you already know"
"I’m Ethan, so Hannah, what’s a spirit beast, are you different from a normal beast, and how are you able to retract your tails and ears?" Ethan asked.
"I know you have lots of questions, and I’m going to answer as long as you promise me something"
"Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone, I don’t even have anyone to tell" Ethan spoke.
"Well, to be honest, I still have a lot of questions about what am I, but my mum said she’s protecting me so I don’t ask too much, but unlike other beasts, I’m able to conceal my identity except during mating seasons"
"My mum told me that she was hunted down and barely escaped with her life and settled in this kingdom, her mum was killed by the same hunters" Hannah spoke.
"I’m sorry, but why would your mum be hunted, and by whom, isn’t she capable of protecting herself?"
"Then she wasn’t, when she came to this kingdom she joined the mage academy and learned to control her immense power, we usually have training sessions but I never win a single one" Hannah chuckled.
"Sorry I was talking too much, what about you? I’ve never seen a male attending the academy, most males normally work in brothels and have fun all the time"
