Chapter 2 A new world
A few months had passed since the graduation.
"Ethan breakfast is ready" his mum shouted from downstairs.
"Coming" Ethan shouted back, he was used to his mum calling him for breakfast in the morning so he rushed outside.
Ethan came out of his room and headed downstairs, as he took a step down his eyes began to spin and he felt lightheaded, he tried to reach out his hands so he could grab the staircase and avoid falling but before he could grab the staircase light faded from his eyes.
Luckily he passed out on the first step and his unconscious body lay there without rolling down the stairs till his mum found him.
Ethan was rushed to the hospital where he was given immediately treatment, his condition was unknown as the doctors were still running tests.
"Will my son be okay?" Ethan's mum asked the doctor as soon as he came out of the door.
"Yes he is, and I need to speak to both of you," the doctor said before going to his office.
Ethan's mum was happy that her son was okay, she thought it was because of stress or other factors but it changed quickly when the doctor told them that he had only six months to live.
"We diagnose him with a strange disease, this particular one is new, it destroyed his organs slowly and showed no symptoms, if we didn't run the tests we wouldn't have found out" the doctor calmly explained the Ethan's parents.
"Huh!! doctor what did you say, I didn't get what you said" Ethan's mum chuckled nervously.
