Dexter’s world lit up from the moment Sophia showed up in his life.

"When will you stop, Carol? You’ve already taken everything away from Sophia.’ Joel was looking at Carol as he leaned against the wall.

He continued, "Dexter wanted to let Sophia live an ordinary life. He erased her memories and made her stay with the Colemans."
