Chapter 111
When Lisa heard the doctor’s words, her vision darkened and she nearly lost her balance. I quickly stepped forward to help her, but she pushed me away. Juliet then helped Lisa to sit down.
"Mrs. Coleman, Damien went there to take revenge for Sophia," Juliet said with tears, putting all the blame on Sophia.
Even though I was dead, she still took the opportunity to disparage me.
"It’s all my fault." Lisa looked pale, and her voice was hoarse.
She spoke again just as I was about to move forward, "I shouldn’t have brought Sophia home in the first place."
I remained frozen in place, unable to move. Lisa regretted bringing me home. If I could choose again, I wouldn’t follow her back to the Coleman residence. I had already experienced death once, believing that nothing could ever hurt me again. However, I was currently enduring intense pain.
Suddenly, Dexter reached out and wrapped his arms around me from behind. He rested his chin on my head and whispered, "Sophia, I’ll give you a home."
He was working hard to provide her with a home and rebuild the home she once had.
I froze and looked up at Dexter. He mentioned he would give me a home...
"I hurt Damien and also hurt Sophia," Lisa said with a trembling voice.
Juliet wept, tightly gripping Lisa’ hand. "Mrs. Coleman, Damien will wake up. If something really happens to him, I’ll die with him. I love him, and I’m willing to risk my life."
