Chapter 312: Best thing
"My name’s Elise. Please tell me if there are any slots opened!"
"Sure."
Alicia let out an awkward laugh as she watched the young lady, who seemed to be a freshman or a year older than that. But with such enthusiasm, she believed Elise was a freshman.
"What a refreshing sight," she mumbled and sighed, glancing at the piece of paper where Elise had written her number. She picked it up on instinct and slipped it inside her notes.
Even Alicia didn’t know why she even bothered taking the piece of paper. She was already tutoring Shanaiah and with Shainaiah’s temper, Alicia was afraid there was no room for her to accept other students. Moreover, Shanaiah was paying her five times her actual rate, and she even told her one of her friends wanted to join the tutoring session.
As she kept the note, her eyes then fell on the ad Elise left on her table.
"Who made this ad?" she mumbled and picked up the poster, reading the details carefully. "Is this a prank?"
Her name, her number, and even her picture were on it. If this was a prank, it was not a good prank. Alicia never put up any ads. If anything, she applies to students or anyone looking for a cheap tutor online. However, she didn’t feel she had to worry about it because it was simply an ad. If anything, it gave her an idea for the future.
"I should make something like this one once I made sure Shanaiah would be able to graduate," she mumbled, now reminded of her student, who still had not yet arrived. "What’s taking her so long? Don’t tell me she canceled?"
It had been a while now since their planned meeting. Hence, Alicia was now growing worried.
Taking her bag, she rummaged through it to look for her phone. When she didn’t find it the first time, she didn’t feel any worry because she might’ve missed it. But when she still couldn’t find her phone, she started taking out everything from her bag.
