Fil had always suspected that Michael was more than meets the eye. However, she didn’t expect that what more than meets the eye was something so heavy.
Everything he said made her reflect on herself. She didn’t even know how she parted with him or got herself a cab to go home. It was as though time had just slipped past her and now, she was just walking herself back home.

Fil pressed her lips into a thin line, kicking a pebble in her path. Thinking that what happened to Alicia would happen to Elijah, she would probably do everything in her power to get justice for him. After all, her anger, when she found out who beat up Kenzo, was something she couldn’t describe until now.
’If Jack didn’t come into my life... I can see myself helping Michael,’ she thought. ’But I don’t want to put myself in that kind of situation anymore. I don’t want to put my loved ones in a difficult situation.’
Was she worried about Michael? Of course. Even though they’re only good time together was when he helped her in crucial times, he somehow grew on her.
