Chapter 220: Are you a villain in your previous life?
Myriads of questions hovered over Fil’s mind at the theory she instantly came up with. However, before she could ask, someone came to the door. When she checked, it was a waitress pushing a trolley. The waitress didn’t say anything, as if she was not surprised to see a woman in the VIP room. She didn’t say anything, leaving the trolley of food by the door which Fil wheeled in.
"Okay..." Fil hummed, pushing the trolley to where Michael was. "Should I serve you as well to ease your anger?"
"You might as well do that."
Fil held herself from rolling her eyes, thinking there was a reason he was irritated. She obediently opened the lid, only to see a classic Western breakfast. Carrying the plate, she handed it to him and sat on the farthest edge from him.
"So — ahem!" Fil bit her tongue, sporting a fake smile at him. "I need your help."
"Did you just bite your tongue and stop yourself from asking a question?" he arched a brow, picking up a crispy bacon with his fingers.
"Yes." She laughed awkwardly. "I really want to ask you what you’re doing here all alone with these setups. I mean what are you working on? It’s not something I’d expect."
"You thought there’s gonna be an orgy here, huh?"
"No!"
"The orgy is next door. Feel free to join Shanaiah if you’re into those kinds of things."
She pursed her lips, watching him enjoy his breakfast. "So, this is actually your nightlife?"
