When the butler escorted Fil to the private hall, the chairman happily welcomed her with both his hands. The room was full of men with only Fil and an old madam with them. However, unlike her, who had to smile and speak kind, generous pleasantries, the old madam watched everything on the sidelines. She didn’t seem an outcast, but she didn’t actively participate in all the conversations.

The conversation within the group quickly changes every minute. One second, they were talking about Fil and her achievements, and then the success of their children and the bad sheep of their family. They had then quickly moved on to business talks. It sounded so natural, and surprisingly, it wasn’t confusing at all.
It only showed how quickly everyone adapts to certain topics and has an opinion about them. No wonder these men reached their level of success in business. They could maintain their composure even if the topic that would come up wasn’t necessarily something they were comfortable talking about.
