Chapter 84: Happy
"Since she started making things interesting for everyone. It’s amazing that she only had to dress up to mess with our heads, isn’t it?"
Anton shook his head once more, shifting his attention to Marcus. Marcus was a better person to chat with instead of Michael and his degeneracy.
"Did you hear from Vincent?" he asked. "He said he might come after his date with Fil."
"They’re on a date?"
"Is that a surprise? It’s not like they don’t have dates." Anton remarked sarcastically. "Did you make up now?"
Marcus ran his tongue across his inner cheek and mixed his drinks. "It’s not like I’m the one who needed to apologize."
"Right. But he never asks sorry."
"Then I don’t forgive." Marcus’ reply was quick with a smile. "I can tolerate him, but unless he admits he is wrong this time, then he stays five feet away from me."
"Why are you like this?" Anton murmured. "What he did is annoying, but Vince has a point about beating up Kenzo. You’re his friend, so if Kenzo starts talking, Vincent and Fil will have a problem."
Marcus was about to argue, but then the door suddenly flew open. Shifting their attention to the entrance, all they saw was Vincent rushing to the bar counter. Vincent didn’t say anything even after reaching the bar, pouring himself a glass of vodka, and chugging it down in one go.
"Woah! Easy!" Anton wow-ed, watching Vincent pour himself another glass. "Dude. What the hell?"
