The Devil's Good Girl

Chapter 7: Worth every second

Wedding bells, soft applause, and graceful smiles around in a heavily floral-decorated garden were the setting of what Fil imagined her first kiss to have. Standing in a white beautiful dress before the man she pledged to spend her entire life with, her first kiss would also mark the promise of forever.

But the reality was different.

Instead of wedding bells and soft applause from the guests, there was nothing but deep breaths. Rather than the scent of spring, a man's faint yet distinct natural odor wafted through her nostrils. And instead of a kiss of forever, it was a first kiss out of anger, pain, and willingness to forget.

Yet, it didn't feel less bad.

If anything, it felt nice — sensational, if she may add.

Fil didn't know how long her lips were locked with this stranger. When she closed her eyes and relaxed her body against him, she rested her arms over his shoulders and let his hands touch areas of her body she never thought she would ever allow others to touch.

Her lips parted, cocking her head back to breathe. Meanwhile, Jackson didn't allow this to dull their moment. Tracing kisses on her jaw down to her neck, he smirked against her skin when she intuitively stretched her neck.

'Well, I guess it's worth the wait,' he thought, nibbling on her collar as he slowly laid her down on the bed.

Fil was obedient and flexible. Her kisses told him she was inexperienced, but she gradually learned without him teaching her. She simply followed his lead, which pleased him greatly. When her back landed on the soft mattress, his hand carefully pulled the end of her robe's belt. At the same time, he pushed himself away from her.

"Hmm?" Jackson paused, lifting his pair of eyes filled with lust to her face. "Are you crying?"

Underneath him was Fil, with the robe barely covering her mounds. Her eyes were shining while a teardrop rolled down her temple.

"Sweetheart, I can't do this if you're crying," Jackson quipped, standing on his knees, still holding the end of her belt. "Are you perhaps hurt?"
