Chapter 574. Underground Maze (2)
Because she didn’t want to die.
She knew everyone will eventually die, but she didn’t want it to happen anytime soon. She hoped that their lives would still be a long one and they would accompany each other in this long path.
"Don’t worry too much. I won’t do anything stupid," Dylan said and then stood up. He looked at Uncle Darien and smiled faintly. "After all, I still want to see Uncle Darien got married and have children."
Uncle Darien rolled his eyes. "Get out!"
"Hahaha!"
After some laughs and jokes, Dylan and Anna walked out of Uncle Darien’s office. They didn’t have many things to prepare aside from some proper gear and equipment. It was important to protect themselves when they were about to face the powerful big mutated animals.
"Shall we bring Kitty tomorrow?" Anna asked.
Dylan thought for a moment and then shook his head. "Even though the area we’re assigned to is near the wall of City A Base, but the tunnel would not be able to fit Kitty."
"...Right."
Some of the tunnels made underground was a bit small and it was impossible to fit the big Kitty. It seemed that Kitty had to learn how to reduce his size if he wanted to enter these tunnels first.
Anna shook his head. "Leave him be, then."
