The world had changed.
It was no longer uncommon to kill each other.
And Anna herself had killed some people in the past year, mostly for the sake of self defense.
But what Anna didn’t think was that her own half brother was trying to kill them. Even though the tactic seemed ridiculously simple, but it would have worked if it has been other people.
After all, these big mutated animals were quite aggressive and if they gathered in large number, even the powerful awakened might have trouble dealing with them. Thus, the tactic that Brian used could be said to be quite effective.

"Ugh." Brian tried to speak, but the vines were strangling him so hard that he was not able to speak. However, he still glared in Anna’s direction, his eyes filled with killing intent.
