"That’s the research institute..."
Dylan looked at the research institute in front of him and paused in his speech. Not because he found that the research institute was wrong, but because he saw Derek was outside the research institute, talking with the young man who had only arrived not long ago, Sean.
The current Sean was no longer looking like the proud young master of Mason Family. Right now, Sean’s clothes were dirty and there were a lot of blood from those big mutated animals battles not long ago.
And the way Sean’s gaze changed to form ruthlessness and killing intent, it was terrifying.
Dylan himself knew that it was the gaze one made when they wanted to kill someone or something. Because he had seen that kind of gaze when he was hunting those big mutated animals that dared to make trouble or even when he saw that someone wanted to trouble Anna.
Because of this, he stopped.
Anna didn’t know clearly, but she could sense that Sean’s atmosphere seemed to change so she also stopped. After all, her instinct was warning her not to get close at all.
"I’ll be going now," Sean said and turned around, no longer paying attention to Derek at all.
Derek nodded at Sean and then turned his head to look at Dylan and Anna who were coming closer. There was a trace of surprise and relief in his eyes when he saw the two of them before he nodded with a smile.
"Are you alright?" Dylan asked with a frown.
Between Derek and Sean, he couldn’t say that he was close to them. After all, Dylan didn’t have much relationship with either of the two of them.
