Chapter 379. Jake Stafford
But no matter what she said, she had to follow her family to City A Base for this was the only path for survival for her.
Sunshine Base was unable to hold on after they had suffered greatly under the attack of those giant mutated animals. These giant mutated animals didn’t seem to care what they did and destroyed many important facilities in Sunshine Base.
The so called sunshine base that should have been full of vitality was slowly and surely broken down.
Betty now followed her family to take refuge in City A Base.
And in this place, their family would have to start from the very beginning once again. For her, this was completely unacceptable.
She had to work if she wanted to live and without working, there wouldn’t be any resources given to her from the base.
The base simply didn’t support idlers.
Even if her family might be able to earn enough for her, they didn’t want to let her do nothing. Betty knew that, which was why her face was really dark when she came to City A Base.
"Bear with it," Brian said impatiently. This was already the tenth time Betty complained about the weather. They didn’t have any car because most of the vehicles were destroyed during that giant mutated animals attack not long ago.
And those who could get the cars were those of the highest status in Sunshine Base. To be exact, the most powerful one too.
Those who had more resources and had more awakened people were definitely the one who took the remaining cars. Unfortunately, Williams Family only had Mr. Williams and Brian as awakened.
