Chapter 354. Mutated Animals Attack (2)
Dylan and Anna’s side.
The two of them had only rested after facing the attack of the assassins. Their breakfast was relatively simple, but they were still in the middle of eating when Dylan received a call from his grandfather.
"Did Grandpa say anything?" Anna asked when she saw Dylan’s dignified expression after answering the phone.
"He said that he requested for the two of us to go back right away." Dylan’s expression was grim. "There are big mutated rats wreaking havoc in the base."
Anna was stunned.
There were big mutated rats coming?
She had thought that some mutated animals would come out after the temperature was rising. After all, their ’hibernation’ should over when the temperature turned warm.
But why there were big mutated rats coming to attack the base?
"He wants me to take care of my uncle and take a look at him from the distance." Dylan sighed and stood up.
To be honest, he didn’t want to be involved too much with the base. Having power and all was interesting and nice, but he didn’t want to let his time that he could use to spend with Anna to be used on this kind of matter.
Thus, Dylan would rather stay in this remote area than accepting the position that his uncle was about to give him.
