"What? Can’t I read novels?" Anna pouted, trying her best to look normal. If not for the blush on her face, other people might still believe her.
Dylan laughed. "It’s not like you’re not allowed to read novels. But you have to know that sometimes, there are many differences between novel and real world."
"Um... my father has a bed in his break room." Anna looked at Dylan suspiciously.
Dylan’s lips twitched.
He thought about Anna’s step mother and had a faint guess that the main reason why there was a bed was for him to facilitate his meeting with that woman.
"Anyway, there’s no bed in my family’s companies."
"Why?"
"Because it’s unnecessary. You come to the office to work and not to sleep." Dylan was trying his best to explain. "Also, do you know that many companies didn’t even proper physical company building? If you don’t have enough money, you can only rent a place to be used as a company.
If the place is in the business area that’s very good, the rent is very expensive. Smaller companies wouldn’t be willing to use the already limited space to make a break room with bed in their company."
Anna blinked her eyes.
She did learn a bit about business from her mother, but she was not very interested in it. Even her mother finally gave up and told her that it would be better for her to hire a manager to take care of her companies after her father gave it to her.
