Chapter 93. Mark and Lucy’s Search for Supplies (2)
Mark saw his girlfriend’s exaggerated behavior speechlessly.
He shook his head. "Even if I say ’shouldn’t,’ it didn’t mean that you have to be wary of these gasoline leaking out. They’re put underground, far below the gas station and wrapped in the place that could withstand tremendous weight and pressure.
From what I know, they’re designed not to break even after experiencing harsh earthquake. So the gasoline down there shouldn’t leak out."
"But the pressure from the flood is quite big too, right?"
"Even if it’s big, it doesn’t mean that they will definitely break the safety in these storage room," Mark explained.
Lucy nodded dumbly.
Honestly, in terms of lessons, she was far behind her other friends and needed Mark to help her make up some lessons. Whenever her teacher was teaching, she will feel that he was speaking some magic words that will help her to sleep.
It was only thanks to Mark that she was able to pass the classes in high school.
If not, she was sure that she wouldn’t be able to understand anything.
Mark saw Lucy’s expression and guessed that she was feeling stupid. He shook his head lightly and continued to row the boat.
