Chapter 84. Chaos (2)
Betty shivered when she saw John’s fierce glare. It was clear that John didn’t like because she couldn’t help them, but there was nothing that she could do.
This situation was clearly out of her skills set and Betty couldn’t expect herself to be an expert in an instant.
She was scared, terrified, and all.
Her entire body tensed up.
When she came down, the reason why she screamed was because she saw a corpse in front of her. Even though the situation was really bad, she has been protected by Jake and the others to a certain degree.
This allowed her to live and fool herself that the situation was still fine.
But after seeing that corpse, Betty knew that she was wrong.
She was completely wrong.
Things were completely different from what she thought. There were many things that couldn’t be the same anymore as before. She had to accept that the reality is now different from before.
"We have to clean up." Jake looked at the corpse in front of him and felt disgusted. But after a few days, it could be said that he was already physiologically prepared. Though, it didn’t stop him from feeling his stomach was churning.
"Block the door first."
