After thinking, Yuka nodded, "Okay, the Alliance Army strikes first. After you finish off the space pirates, the Stellar Corps will follow up."
Kenji nodded in agreement, and everyone else breathed a sigh of relief.
With everyone’s input, the battle plan was quickly finalized, setting the attack for that night.
Equipped with night vision devices from the science academy, the mechas could see clearly even in the dark. They boarded their combat spacecraft, silently approaching planet K32.
On K32, Bartland stood in the command room, gripping his subordinate’s shoulder, intently watching the screens showing the planet’s outer defense sensors.
Having worked for the Alliance Army for over twenty years, he knew they favored night attacks. It was no surprise they were coming after scouting during the day.
Bartland was a very smart guy, and he knew the Alliance Army was aware of their space pirate’s headquarters and the Queen’s location. He had already set traps around the Queen’s nest, waiting for the Alliance Army – and that Stellar Corps – to fall into it.
Suddenly, dozens of spacecraft appeared in the dark night, visible in the command room’s screens as clusters of red dots. Bartland smirked and instructed his subordinate, "Shoot them down. Don’t worry about running out of fire."
His subordinate hesitated for a moment, aware that their firepower was insufficient against the number of the Alliance Army. He knew all their space pirates wouldn’t survive the night, but defying Bartland meant dying immediately.
