Chapter 210: Dark Gods Are Watching
Leo and the Devil King continued fighting, their battle destroyed everything around them thanks to the shockwaves. Both were seriously injured but wouldn’t give up as he dodged a sword swing.
Without waiting, he lashed out and threw a powerful California Smash that connected with the Fiend’s chest. A loud clap rang out before the devil shot off like a bullet and crashed into a nearby mountain.
He watched as a dust cloud erupted allowing him to quicky suck in more mana as it slowly mended his injuries. Leo spat up some blood while summoning his Demonic Soldiers and ordered. ’’Bring me all the dead bodies!’’
At his command, the beings scattered in every direction, a chaotic flurry of motion that brought a satisfied smile to his lips. Five minutes later, a pile of corpses began to take shape nearby, and he mused. ’Looks like the Light Goddess is about to lose.’
Just then, the Devil King returned and suddenly materialized in front of him. Leo chuckled before dodging the sudden punch by ducking low while sending mana to his fist and sprung forward.
With a fierce thrust, he drove his fist into the fiend’s stomach, unleashing a deafening boom that shattered the enemy’s armor in an instant. The devil’s eyes widened in horror before it sank its razor-sharp teeth into his shoulder.
Leo’s scream tore through the air, raw with agony, as he unleashed a flurry of punches into the fiend’s gut, trying to free himself. Blood sprayed in all directions, splattering the scene with crimson.
The beast’s jaws ripped into him, tearing a chunk of flesh from his body, and a blinding white haze flooded his vision from the searing pain. He didn’t give up and grabbed one of the Devil King’s horns before tearing it free from its head.
Moments later, Leo jumped back, his left arm limp as the devil destroyed all his nerves and tendons. The enemy stood up straight with glowing black eyes as he pointed at him. ’’You will die here, and I will rebuild my world on the ashes of yours,’’ it declared confidently.
Leo started laughing as he answered with blazing eyes. ’’No! I haven’t lost yet, devil!’’
In that moment, his torn flesh slowly began to knit itself together, a slow. Then, with the force of a blazing comet, he surged forward, crashing into the stunned fiend with earth-shaking ferocity.
