Chapter 205: This? This Was Fun
Leo noticed Astra glancing at Agatha, a smirk tugging at her lips as she teased, "Well, looks like you jinxed us, huh? Should’ve known the weather’s got a stubborn streak of its own."
Before anyone could reply, a vile aura crashed over the fortress, so potent that it sent several women retching to their knees. Dark’s face twisted in terror, her eyes widening to the size of saucers as she whirled toward him.
’’The humans have a God Killer!’’ she gasped, her voice trembling. ’’We need to run, handsome!’’
Leo’s response was a low chuckle, his red eyes sparking with a wild gleam. ’’Take the others and retreat to the domain,’’ he said, his tone brimming with confidence. ’’I’ll handle this intruder and put an end to their little toy.’’
In an instant, he vanished, reappearing before a towering figure, a giant of a man with flowing blonde hair, blazing blue eyes, and a physique like a tank. The stranger’s lips curled into a wicked, malevolent grin as his gaze locked onto Leo.
’’Finally, the new baby God reveals himself,’’ the man rumbled, his voice dripping with menace as he glanced around. ’’Where’s that wretched Dark Goddess hiding?’’
Rage flared in Leo’s chest when he heard the stranger’s insult, and in a blink, he vanished. The clash erupted with ferocity, their power driving the storm itself to scatter in fear as shockwaves rippled outward.
The God Killer was hurled back by the force, but he quickly recovered, charging at Leo with unrelenting fury. Their fists collided in mid-air, the impact reverberating like a thunderclap. He gritted his teeth, their strength locked in a deadlock, neither yielding.
But then, a creeping sensation slithered into his body, something invasive, insidious. Before he could react, the enemy seized his collar before hurling him down to the earth as he was distracted.
’This idiot thinks he can weaken me?’ he thought with a smirk as he instantly destroyed the poison that was trying to cut off his powers.
Leo chose to toy with the God Killer, climbing out of the crater with a grin. He launched into the air like a missile, catching the foe off guard. The impact hit like a freight train and drove his forehead into the enemy’s with a savage headbutt.
