Chapter 177: A Symphony Of Violence
Leo’s eyes snapped upward as a massive wild devil that looked like it was on steroids and went through some horrifying experiments that made it stronger plummeted toward him from a random portal.
’Oh shit!’ he thought with wide eyes.
He cast Mana Barrier, a shimmering shield flaring to life just in time. The beast crashed atop it, snarling as it hammered down, each blow making the barrier tremble. ’What is this beast?’ he internally complained.
Moments later, Leo vanished and appeared not far from the devil, who was already charging at him while letting out a roar that shook the ground before swinging at him. He ducked under the massive fist.
Without waiting, he sent mana to his fist, hitting the enemy in the stomach. The impact caused a boom, sending the enemy stumbling backward. Leo continued attacking and landed dozens of punches.
The devil monster was overwhelmed, causing its aura to grow stronger as it blocked one of his blows. It smiled before landing a deadly headbutt that sent his head spinning, forcing him to cast Fireball at the enemy.
An explosion helped him clear some space between them just as he cast Thunderbolts and sent the wave of spells sliced through the air and slammed into the devil. The creature let out an agony-filled roar.
’’What is this damn thing? My magic isn’t doing anything to it!’’ he complained just before dodging several attacks.
Leo felt a rush of wind graze his face as he struck back, slamming his fist into the creature’s elbow with a sickening snap that echoed through the air. The two traded ferocious blows, fists flying in a brutal dance that left both of them bloodied and reeling.
The air crackled with power as Leo faced the towering devil, its horns glinting under the night sky. Moments later, the power skyrockets as the ground trembled, fissures splitting the earth as it roared, a sound that shook the bones of the world itself.
’Oh shit! It’s getting stronger!’ he thought with wide eyes.
