Chapter 142: Favors Him
Leo stared at the Safe Room, which had a bench in the middle with seats dotting the place that he found out because they were inside a dungeon. He stumbled over to a comfortable-looking chair and slumped into the soft cushions.
’Shit, I need to sleep,’ he thought.
Trailing behind, Astra and Veladra heard the Demon Queen’s command. ’’Vel,’’ she ordered, ’’Build a fire and prepare some food. I’ll channel some mana into the lights to keep us out of the dark.’’
Soon after, he fell asleep, his body working to repair itself from the battle with the Giant Eel. As he rested, he could feel his strength increasing, leveling up and growing more powerful with each passing moment.
While resting, Astra approached him while muttering, ’’How are you so powerful? I can feel it radiating off you.’’
’’The Dark Goddess favors him,’’ Veladra answered just as a fire roared to life.

’’I swear he’s more like a demon than we are,’’ the white-haired woman replied while sitting down. ’’All he does is tease me and my body won’t be able to handle it for much longer.’’
Veladra started giggling before teasing her oldest friend, ’’Wait until he plays with you. He will make you addicted to his monster, which stretched me open to the fullest.’’
