Chapter 138: You’re Tough But I’m Tougher

Once the Dark Goddess comforted him, Leo continued hunting monsters and killed so many that they started hiding. This annoyed him to no end, but he continued searching while flying around some mountain peaks.

’Where are they all?’ he thought while scanning the landscape. ’I sensed them minutes ago.’

Leo shook his head and continued flying until spotting a strange-looking Titan climbing down the side of the mountain. It was a massive crab-like monster had a dark shell with beady red eyes and had pincers the size of a building.

When seeing this, he got excited as the thought of fighting this giant monster got his adrenaline going. ’This will give me loads of experience.’

Following that, Leo sent his mana flowing around his body and strengthened every part before he shot forward like a missile. When the Titan realized he was flying directly at it but it was too late, as he slammed into the creature.

A loud boom rang out as the crab to fly backward only to crash into the mountain. The force caused the ground to shake like a mini earthquake just as he dashed forward as the Titan got back up.

Seeing this, Leo channeled his energy, supercharging an Eldritch Blast that pulsed with raw, crackling power. With a fierce shout, he unleashed it, sending the beam hurtling toward the monstrous Titan.

The impact was devastating. A thunderous explosion shook the air as the blast struck true and shattered part of the crab’s massive shell, fracturing it with jagged cracks, and blew one of its claws clean off, tumbling it to the ground.

Minutes later, the Titan Crab stood up only to loom over him, its massive claw snapping with enough force to cleave through stone. The monster’s shell gleamed like obsidian under the stormy sky, its beady, enraged eyes locked onto him.

Leo stood firm, his eyes blazing with determination as mana crackled. His fingers twitched as the Titan Crab lunged, its only remaining claw flew toward him. He dove to the side, rolling across the jagged rocks as its claw smashed down where he had just stood.

He sprang to his feet and thrust his hand forward, unleashing an Eldritch Blast that streaked through the air like a comet. The beam struck the creature’s armored side; the impact echoing with a boom, but the Titan’s shell held firm.
