Leo laughed at Astra’s answer, which caused the two merchant women to go wide eye but he quickly asked the white-haired woman, ’’I want to start a merchant company, will you allow these two to travel throughout the empire?’’
When the Demon Queen heard this, she turned to Mariana and Viora with narrowed eyes before nodding with a smile, ’’Yes they may. The war will keep the traders busy, especially now that a Demon King has been born.’’
’’I’ll return to the capital shortly, I need to spend some time with the harem as it’s only fair to each of you,’’ he said while glancing at the older woman. ’’Me, you and Veladra will be spending a lot of time together.’’
Astra’s smile grew wide as she nodded while speaking, ’’That sounds delightful, but I must get back to the empire. Oh, by the way, Veladra’s husband as arrived at the palace and issued a challenge to you.’’
When Leo heard this, his eyebrow rose in curiosity as a grin appeared. ’’I’ll come deal with it now and show him why he just fucked up.’’
Following that, he said his goodbyes to the girls before leaving the Domain with Astra and reappearing in the castle where maids were rushing around, attending to their duties now that the castle was busy.
The red-skinned beauty was pacing around the office until seeing them causing a smile to appear. She rushed up to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders while speaking, ’’Master! Thalraxus has arrived, and he is much stronger than the last time I saw him.’’
Leo chuckled, returning the hug with a playful grin. ’I’ll go teach him a lesson and make sure he knows you’re my woman now, Vel,’ she said, her expression radiating confidence.
The two women exchanged mischievous giggles before motioning to Leo to follow them, which made him chuckle at their behavior. They led him through winding halls until they emerged into the sprawling courtyard, where chaos reigned.
Thalraxus stood at the center, his voice a booming roar as he berated the Demon Knights, their heads bowed in silent submission. The moment Leo laid eyes on the towering figure, he faltered for a split second.
’This is going to be exciting breaking this demon down,’ he thought with a big smile that didn’t reach his blue eyes.
