Chapter 130: The Demon King
Astra led Leo through the Demon Palace, causing him to quickly noticed the armored soldiers patrolling the hallways. Ten minutes later, the two of them came to a large metal door that the queen opened by muttering something.
’Is it their race’s magic?’ he pondered while watching the pale-skinned woman. ’Maybe it doesn’t matter to me.’
Following that, the door opened as Astra turned to him with a warm smile before speaking, ’’This way master, I believe you’ll like what I have to show you.’’
He nodded while following the beautiful demon woman and quickly noticed they entered a hall, but a force was pulling him toward a pedestal that was home to a powerful-looking sword.
This caused Leo to think as the force was calling to him as if it wanted his attention, ’What the fuck is this shit now!’
Seconds later, a screech rang out, causing Astra’s red eyes to open wide as she turned to him, but a beam of light shot out of the sword within seconds, catching everyone off guard thanks to the suddenness of it all.
Moments later, the beam slammed into Leo’s body, which hurt at first as it felt like he was burning, but then a warm feeling washed over him, which took the pain away as it repaired his frame.
Once everything was healed, black armor started covering his body, which shocked the Demon Queen as she stumbled back and fell on her ass. Leo turned to her with now glowing red eyes and he grew even taller, which surprised the woman even more.
’Why do I feel much stronger?’ he pondered as things calmed down and he was now towering over the demon soldiers.
Leo noticed everyone was staring at him with wide eyes, causing him to turn to Astra, who was beaming. She shook her head and exclaimed in a cheerful voice, ’’The Duskwood Empire summoned the Demon King!’’
’’What? How?’’ he questioned, with obvious confusion on his face.
