Chapter 124: Veladra Nightwing
As Leo flew toward the tent, he saw Veladra standing there with wide eyes as she looked at him. He chuckled at her reaction before speaking. ’’What’s wrong?’’
’’How did you kill a Titan so quickly?’’ she asked in amazement.
His smile grew wider as he answered, ’’Because I’m strong. If you want to impress your queen, why don’t you help me track down the problems plaguing her so I can kill them?’’
The red-skinned woman looked confused, causing her to questioning, ’’Why are you helping my queen?’’
’’Astra is intriguing, and I want to meet her,’’ Leo revealed, his voice filled with quiet excitement. ’’I have a feeling the two of us can do great things.’’
At his words, Veladra’s eyes widened in surprise, her curiosity piqued. Before she could respond, Leo swiftly packed away the tent, then lifted the beautiful demon in his arms, which shocked her.
Without hesitation, he soared into the sky while speaking, ’’So are there anymore troubles the demons are having?’’
Her yellow eyes widened in shock but she nodded, ’’There are many monsters in the west causing problems. The queen sent the army there.’’
Leo nodded silently, his gaze fixed westward as he flew with purpose. His sharp eyes scanned the landscape below, looking for any sign of monster swarms. Whenever one appeared, he acted without hesitation.
Eldritch Blasts streaked through the air like violet comets, while bolts of thunderous energy cracked like divine judgment, reducing the creatures to ash in mere moments. Veladra watched in awe, her crimson eyes wide as she marveled at his power.
Despite the surrounding chaos of explosion and roaring creatures, she unconsciously leaning closer, her head nuzzling against his chest. Her thoughts swirled in confusion as her heart betrayed her stoic demeanor.
