Chapter 82: Will You Let Me Reward You
Leo watched as the female Demon dropped dead just as the male suddenly appeared and let out a wild roar before slicing him across his chest. He gritted his teeth as the pain shot through his body.
But he still countered and hit the enemy with a California Smash to the face. The impact sent the Demon crashing across the ground, and blood loss forced him to drop to one knee as the pain was too much.
’Shit, their mana is blocking my Regeneration,’ he thought while coughing up blood.
Leo shook his head, steadying himself as he rose to his feet, just in time to face the charging Demon. The wild creature charged toward him with unrelenting ferocity, but this time, Leo was prepared. ’Now let’s end this fight and rest for a while.’
As the Demon closed in, its claws sliced through the air, narrowly missing him. Leo countered by delivering a devastating Supernova Punch. The blow struck the creature’s chest with bone-crushing force, collapsing it inward with a sickening crack.
Without hesitation, Leo poured every ounce of his mana into his next spell—a fully charged Fireball. The blazing blue orb roared to life in his hands, its intense heat distorting the surrounding air.
He hurled the searing projectile, its fiery trail slicing through the air before slamming into the enemy with explosive force. Leo watched as the Fireball hit the Demon which engulfed it in a deadly blue flame.
Seconds later, he collapsed to one knee as the exhaustion overwhelmed him. That’s when the enemy suddenly rushed forward and landed a knee to his face with a sickening crunch. Leo was taken by surprise, but used the last of his mana to hit it with a powerful Thunderbolt.
His Fireball burrowed deep into its chest, obliterating its heart as he flew back thanks to the surprise attack. The Demon let out a final, guttural cry before collapsing lifelessly to the ground.
