Chapter 41: Taming Persephone
The last five, along with Thalira, were almost across when a massive monster suddenly slammed into the bridge. Leo immediately prepared to attack the newcomer, but a thick tentacle whipped through the air, slamming into his body.
When feeling the impact, he crashed into the water below. Disoriented and unconscious, Leo was carried downstream. Pain washed through his body, but he couldn’t do anything as he drifted away, the world around him fading to black.
As Agatha and Roxy saw this, they panicked alongside the knights, but Cassandra said they needed to get back to the capital. Everyone was reluctant to go, but the tentacles forced them to move.
The two young women left the river and destroyed bridge behind as they were a day’s walk away from the city. While they rushed to get behind the walls, Leo was floating through a dense forest as Thalira clung to him.
’What the fuck happened there,’ she thought while trying to wake the hero up.
Thalira noticed a waterfall coming up, which made her panic. She tried to pull Leo out of the water, but the duo was thrown over the edge and crashed into the water below, knocking the older woman out.
But luckily she was hugging Leo, who was still in a world of darkness. That’s when a soothing voice woke him up. ’’My little champion. Wake up and pamper me.’’
His head was hurting, but he managed to open his eyes only to find himself in a dark bedroom with a feint white light that lit up the Dark Goddess. Leo smiled when he saw the beautiful woman as he stepped forward.
He grabbed her chin and pressed a lust-filled kiss against her plump lips, which made the Goddess moan, ’’Mmmmghh~~.’’
