Chapter 9: My Legs Were Shaking For Hours
Leo sat down. Once Roxy could stand up, she looked at the blonde elf who kept stealing glances at her. ''What's wrong, Lirael? Cat got your tongue?''
The maid shook her head and revealed, ''I feel a powerful pull towards him, causing me to lose focus.''
While doing this, Leo noticed Nadia was avoiding his gaze, but he introduced himself anyway. ''I'm Leo Anderson, and this is my girlfriend, Roxy Garcia. It's nice to meet you both.''
Lirael smiled as the other maid averted her gaze. The elf replied warmly, placing a plate of food on the table, ''It's a pleasure to meet you both. I hope you go far into this new world.''
Roxy nodded in response, sinking into a nearby chair with a satisfied smirk. She picked up a slice of meat resembling chicken and took a bite before saying, ''This new world seems pretty decent. I am curious, though, what do these demons look like?''
Leo shrugged. "Red skin, horns, and cackles like a hyena—we'll see them one day, but I need to get more points," he said in a curious tone.
Following that, he started eating while downing some of the sweet wine, which was delicious. The two of them continued until nothing was left, and Leo collapsed on the nearest bed as he was full.
While lying there, Roxy joined him and laid her head on his chest before asking, ''Can I see this list you told me about?''
Leo nodded in agreement and pulled up the information, which caused her green eyes to gleam with fascination.
