Chapter 453: Love (2)
Annalise rested her head on Rafael’s shoulder. She greatly missed this connection they shared with their intimacy.
"Tired?" Rafael teasingly asked.
"Just because I lost our sparring match does not mean I am suddenly a person to tire easily. I can go on for much longer, but moving against the wall is a bit painful even if it is a slow movement," Annalise said, moving from his shoulder to look at him.
There was a slight burning sensation from her moving along the wall as Rafael penetrated her. If they were to be slow and careful again she could bear with it, but anything else would leave her back getting a bruise.
Hearing this, Rafael went back to holding her up without the help of the wall and stepped away from it. Evidence of their activities had made its way to the floor and before any guest might come to look at the house, it needed to be cleaned up.
Rafael lifted Annalise right out of the room because her skin felt cold. The floor would also be too cold for them to make any use of it so the best option was by the fireplace downstairs.
Annalise smiled because of how Rafael carried her around. She was a fool to walk around and explore the house when she could have had a better tour like this.
Annalise liked their earlier position with the wall, but she had to admit that she missed the warmth that came from the fireplace and the light it offered for her to see Rafael more clearly. As she moved her hand to caress his cheek, her engagement ring was in view.
It struck her that they had made love with her only wearing the ring. It would have been more perfect if she was wearing the necklace he gifted her, but she was so worried about ruining it that she tried not to wear it often and kept it tucked away in a box.
