Chapter 123: You’re a sick bastard!
Noah’s eyes fluttered open, his head pounding, every muscle in his body aching as if he’d been run over by a truck. The pain, though, wasn’t the most alarming thing—it was the unfamiliar warmth beneath him.
His heart skipped a beat as he realised his face was pressed against a chest. The steady rise and fall of breath beneath his cheek made his pulse thunder in his ears.
What the hell? Noah’s body stiffened in an instant, and his breath quickened. He shot up from the bed, his heart racing in his chest, and the sudden movement made his head spin. As the blanket slid off him, he gasped in horror. He was naked. Completely naked.
Panic set in his chest. His hands fumbled with the blanket, pulling it desperately over his body, his eyes wide with confusion and fright. Then the memories from last night hit him like a punch to the gut. Those men... the drugs...
But everything after that was a blur. What happened? He frantically searched his mind for details, but it was all just fragmented flashes of heat and disorientation.
And then, Ryder.
Noah’s head snapped towards the other side of the bed where Ryder was lying, still asleep, his chest bare and his hair tousled in a careless, almost too comfortable way. Panic morphed into sheer terror as Noah’s heart hammered in his chest.
Did he—?
Noah’s face contorted in anger and confusion. He couldn’t believe it. How could he?
"You bastard!" Noah let out a piercing scream, and Ryder jolted awake, his eyes snapping open as he blinked in confusion, looking up at Noah with sleepy surprise.
"What did you do?!" Noah’s voice trembled, every word laced with fear and accusation. "You took advantage of me! You drugged me! How dare you?" His throat tightened, and his vision blurred with unshed tears.
