Chapter 119: I’m not gay
Ryder blocked Noah’s path again, his eyes raking over Noah’s body, taking in every inch of him with a hunger that was impossible to hide. He’s quite shameless when he sees something he desires.
And it happens pretty rarely when someone or something gets his attention.
"You know, doll face," Ryder murmured, his voice a rough, seductive growl, "you might be the most frustrating person I’ve ever met, but damn, if you aren’t the hottest too."
Noah glared at him, his breath coming faster as he tried to shove past. "Move, ugly face. I’m not in the mood for your bullshit."
Ryder only smirked at the insult, stepping closer, his lips almost brushing against Noah’s ear. "What’s wrong with having a little fun? Something tells me you’re tired from a lotttt of things. Don’t you ever just want to let go, stop pretending you’re above it all, and just...feel?"
Noah’s jaw clenched, but Ryder could see the way his body was reacting, the way his breath hitched whenever Ryder’s hand slid up his arm. So, maybe Ryder does have a chance.
And he won’t let it go without giving it a try.
"You’ve got that fire, that energy... I want to see what you’re like when you’re not fighting it. When you’re just giving in."
"You wish! And I’m not gay so get off me," Noah snapped, trying to pull away, but Ryder wasn’t letting go.
"You’ve got that mouth on you," Ryder continued, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. "But I bet it would feel a lot better wrapped around...something else. How about it? You could use that sharp tongue for something other than insults."
Noah’s eyes blazed with fury, but Ryder could see the heat there too, that spark that told him he was getting under Noah’s skin. "You’re disgusting," Noah disputed, and Ryder knew he was getting to him.
