’Did they catch on to my plan? I honestly expected a chase. It would have been more fun to take them out one after the other.’ Tim thought, as he retraced his steps back towards where the slave traders were.
On getting to the spot that he bolted from minutes ago. He was surprised by the emptiness that greeted him.
The slave traders had left their spot. Supposedly they had resumed their journey.
"Shit. Are they really that cautious?" Tim said, as he looked at the trail that was left behind.
’They probably figured that I can’t take them all on, that is why they decided not to chase.
That has to be the reason. It is a smart decision. They want to force my hand.’ Tim thought as he stealthily moved towards their supposed location.

"Sir, are you sure that the boy will still come for us. It has been over an hour, yet we have seen no signs of the kid." The guard said as he looked at one of the leaders, Taz for a reply.
"You have to be patient. He will return. And when he does return, I will give him a pain far worse than he can ever imagine." Taz said with a devious grin on his face.
