This was the King Jiunian reborn from the Devil Egg, regaining the true form of a demon, and even a physical body.

The Mountain Lord, like a fierce tiger released from its cage, had directly punched through layers of the Abyss, from the lowest Mountain Abyss, straight through to the first layer.

In the past, he was merely suppressed in the darkness, unable to escape to the heavens, but within the darkness, the range of activities was unrestricted, and there were many things he could do.

Now, the Greedy Devil King was like a chick, trampled under the tiger's paw, unable to move, not to mention escaping, even turning over was impossible.

After Cha Wang's obliteration, the Mountain Lord left the Abyss as well.

Sure enough, the Mountain Lord laughed wildly as he went, recklessly unleashing his power, sweeping all in his path.

Countless devils turned to dust in an instant, without even leaving ashes to scatter.

The Mountain Lord swept through, indiscriminately attacking, crushing a heap of devils, and then moved towards the deeper Abyss, having not found him.

Even after the Mountain Lord left, King Jiunian dared not abandon his current demon body.

If he were to abandon the body, and upon recovery of his true form, having regained most of his power, the Mountain Lord might make another surprise attack, what then?

Forget it, it'd be better to be cautious, use the current body to regain power, even if it meant retaking the path of the Devil King, slower and with the weakness of a physical body, it was still better than being caught again.

King Jiunian shrank into a corner of the Nu River, quietly recovering, seldom engaging in battles like other devils, to remain inconspicuous, aiming to regain power first, at least to ensure a successful escape.

On the other side of the Abyss, the fragmented, myriad Heavenly Devil King found no suitable host, nor interest in the devils here.

Up to now, he didn't dare fully gather his numerous clones.

Believing himself safe, as he started to quietly gather the fragments to begin recovery, the Mountain Lord, that madman, surprisingly knew to make a surprise attack.

Recklessly unleashing his power, sweeping through brutally, drawing no distinction in his search, leaving nothing unscathed.

The Heavenly Devil King thought he understood the Mountain Lord well enough, never expecting him to pull such a trick unexpectedly.

Frightened, to this day, he didn't dare retrieve all his fragments, fearing the Mountain Lord's return.

He couldn't sense King Jiunian anymore, not knowing if he had been captured or something happened.

He even dared not contact anyone else.

Instead, emerging safely, the first priority should have been contacting the Cliff Divine King in the void.
