My System Love Me Too Much

Do you think it's okay if I make this story include a mini-arc that connects to the Game of Thrones world? I'm thinking of starting the arc from Aegon the Conqueror, and as usual, Raviel would create identities for her family there before the conquest, then change how history unfolds regarding how Aegon conquered the Seven Kingdoms.

The arc would go all the way to the end, where Maegor the Cruel meets his end. Of course, there would be a lot of time skips, since there isn't much that can really be explained in detail there—especially because in the lore and books, that part doesn't even reach 20 pages.

I also don't really like how the maesters treated Maegor the Cruel in the original story, so in this version the arc would probably be fairly long, maybe around 15 chapters. I'm also not a fan of King Jaehaerys I's story, which feels overly complicated and roundabout, especially how it eventually leads to giving the crown to Viserys.

That said, there is one part of the story I don't want to change: The Dance of the Dragons. I actually really like that part, where they fight over the throne and end up destroying the foundation of their own family's power. Honestly, when I read the books, the family already feels cursed, so there's no need for those dragon lizards to exist all the way until Daenerys Targaryen shows up to wrap up the Game of Thrones story.
