Chapter 12: Raven City
Zane attacked the third person. He tried to attack, but he wasn’t fast enough, and his hands were cut off in a fluid motion.
The third person was down. One of the mages created a fireball and shot it at Zane. He dodged it easily and then threw his dagger; it stabbed right into her shoulder. She screamed in pain as she looked at the dagger. She collapsed and fainted a few seconds later.
He grabbed onto the next dude. He tried to fight back, but Zane snapped his arm before he could. He collapsed to the ground, screaming in pain.
The blonde man watched in horror. His sword trembled in his hands. He took one step back as he saw the last of his men fall to the ground. He turned, about to run, only to see Zane right in front of him.
He got scared. He panicked, so he thrust his blade, but Zane slapped it out of his hand. He grabbed him by the neck and lifted him off the ground.
And for the first time since he came to this world, his fangs came out, long and sharp. The blonde man saw the fangs and the fear he felt tripled. His face twisted into one of pure horror. He tried to struggle, but Zane’s grip was too strong.
Zane sunk his teeth into the man’s neck, and the blood filled his mouth in seconds. He peacefully waited for the notification of two stat points.

When the message came, he was immediately confused. He got three, not two. His mind ran a quick thinking spree, and the reason was obvious—players gave more when he drank their blood.
He pulled his teeth out and licked his lip. "Ahhh, I ended up showing what I was. I don’t want anyone knowing," Zane said. He looked around, and all the others were groaning in severe pain, which meant that they didn’t see what happened.
He looked back at the blonde man. "You are really unlucky, being the only person that saw me. Honestly, I want to say I’m sorry, but I can’t," Zane said. His nails grew longer. He then thrust his hand into the chest of the blonde man, right through the heart, and killed him.
He allowed his body to fall and hit the ground after killing him.
