Chapter 250: A Good News
On their way back, Rory stared blankly out the window. The traffic was as she remembered, and it annoyed her. Living back in her homeland for that short time looked like it was a long time ago.
"You did good," Liam held her hand. He could see that she was disturbed.
"You think so?" Rory looked at him. She then sighed. "I am amazing. So, there is nothing surprising about that..." she leaned on the seat with a smile.
Liam chuckled and pinched her cheek. He loved seeing her in good spirits.
"Oww! That hurts," she slapped his hand away.
He was staring at her with horny eyes. Rory pointed at the lights. "It’s green. Move..."
She didn’t know what she did to turn him on this time. He is so simple. But having a simple man as a husband is better. Who would want someone who is hard to figure out? She wants a husband not a puzzle game!
The horns from the cars behind started blaring and Liam moved the car. Rory closed her eyes and leaned on the seat.
She recalled her interaction with Lennon. Her hands subconsciously ended up on her abdomen.
"I am late, aren’t I?" she asked.
She has a period tracker on her phone, but she trusted her husband more on this issue. That guy had incredible memory when it came to this. He had selfish reasons but that didn’t matter.
"Late?" Liam adjusted his sunglasses and looked at her. At first, he didn’t understand what she meant. They are not that late, and Ellie would be safe.
