Chapter 223: She is Ready
Rory was astonished to see Liam leading her right to her room. But then, she made a lot of video calls, and he must know every place in this house by now.
"Are you hungry? Should I get you anything from the kitchen?" he asked the moment she entered the room.
"Umm..." Rory thought for a second rubbing her stomach. "No, I don’t feel hungry," she said. "I am so happy to be hungry," she smiled at him.
Liam pulled her into a hug. He too was happy but couldn’t express it as she does with words.
"I’ll take a bath," Rory said.
"Bath?" he raised his brows. "Can I join?" he asked.
Rory blinked. Hugging him naked...Umm...
"I was just kidding," Liam pushed her inside the bathroom. "Just go. Don’t take too much time. I want to take a shower too," he said.
"Fizzy, I..." Rory peeked out of the bathroom. She didn’t want to hurt him. She was not opposed to taking a bath together.
"Oh, get in," Liam didn’t let her speak and locked the door.
He let out a deep breath. He might have a clouded vision, but he didn’t think that Rory was opposed to the idea of taking a bath together. But he was scared to hear her speak. What if she is opposed?
He decided to wait a bit more and let her come to him by herself. That way, he would know that she is healed and is not forcing herself to be with him. The last thing he would want is for Rory to force herself to go with his wishes. She will do that for him. But that won’t be good for her.
