As she stepped on the narrow stairs that were steep, she realized something. She could see her darling husband’s leering eyes without even looking at him.
Maybe he realized that she knows what he is up to, he whispered, "Yellow... Not red, not black, not anything sexy. but plain yellow!" His voice reeked of disappointment.
She had forgotten that she was wearing a short dress and her husband degenerated into a high school jerk! How awesome!
She shook her head and placed her hands on her butt to mitigate the effects. But Liam found that was nothing and kissed her hand. She felt little flutters in her abdomen as his lips pressed to her hand.
Rory rolled her eyes. It is what it is. He’s seen everything on her body possibly from every angle. What would her little hands do?
"I would have worn red lacy ones if you told me you were coming," she said taking her hands back.
Only after she didn’t hear his reply for long, that Rory realized why he might be shaken by that statement. And it was time for her to be shocked that she could make that statement without thinking deeply.
Did she mean it? Mostly...Absolutely!
She turned and looked at him. He smiled at her. He didn’t know if she was ready to sleep with him already, but he could sense her closeness. She is kissing him from her heart, and she doesn’t mind his kisses. Not so long ago, she would wince and yelp at that prospect.
And she was not making jokes of that sort so easily.
"You nasty little weasel!" Rory pinched his nose as she remembered something. "You always walked behind me when I was wearing skirts back in high school. Were you planning on taking a peek, then?" she asked.
She used to think that he did that to protect her from other jerks, but now that she looks back, he is not that different from those jerks, right? Well, he was different because he had feelings for her. So...
