Chapter 61: Snapping
The tip of Rory’s nose was red and so were her cheeks. Her blue irises looked dark in that dim-lit room. She pointed her thin and slender finger at Liam.
"And don’t you dare think you can take Ellie from me..." she clenched her jaws. Tears filled her eyes and danced on her lower waterline raring to fall. Her voice was menacing and yet held a certain softness minding the baby.
"I will give my all to f*cking end you. Don’t think that I don’t have the means to do so. Till now, I just lacked the conviction," she said and with her hair fluttering, turned, and walked out.
Rory came to a stop seeing Mrs. Delport standing there leaning on the wall. She didn’t know if she heard what she said to Liam. She did not care either.
It was one thing if he thinks that she wants to be on tabloids and it is another thing that he doubts her love for him. If he is someone who thinks that she would go behind Ian just because he is here, then...
Uh. F*ck him!
Mrs. Delport saw Rory walking to the living room where others were. The door was slightly ajar and she saw Liam looking despondent.
"Maybe it is better if she leaves, right? Isn’t that what you want? To keep her far away from your troubles?" She asked entering the room.
Liam looked up. "Who are you?" he asked.
Gritting his teeth, he lunged at her. But before he reached her, Mrs. Delport took a side step. She grabbed his wrist before his hand reached her throat and twisted it behind his back pinning him against the wall.
