Chapter 178: Not As Expected
"Are you okay?" Tony gently rubbed her back. "Eat something."
Marcella let out a deep breath looking at the plate in front of her. "I’m not hungry," she pushed the plate and got up.
"You’re not drinking if you’re not eating," Tony blocked her.
"Come on!" Marcella stomped her foot.
Tony chuckled. "Have something. It’s not good to go to bed on empty stomach."
Marcella took her seat. She still didn’t feel like eating. "Did you cook?" she asked Tony. It looked like his cooking.
"Yeah, I knew you’d be..." he walked to her and patted her head. "Eat something, Birdie... "
Marcella took in a deep breath. She started eating and Tony joined her. She finished the plate and leaned back.
"I almost killed him, Tony. It would have been the easiest thing," she said.
She couldn’t shake away what happened in the park.
"And no one would have blamed you. You wouldn’t have faced any consequences. You would have been hailed as a hero," Tony said. "Why didn’t you?" he asked.
He heard what happened there and wanted to know why she didn’t kill the scum. It would have been a service to humanity if she had pulled the trigger. He heard that the crowd gave him a nice treatment and that calmed him.
