Flash Marriage: Shrewd Wife, Devious Husband

Chapter 146: Dangerous Dragon

Daniel Schmidt—Tony finally remembered his name. He didn’t remember his name because he used to call him with whatever swear word that comes to his mind.

Daniel Schmidt was known well in the elite circles of this country even though he was not a citizen. His love for girls could only be rivaled by his love for money. He was too prideful to take a loss too. He was someone anyone wouldn’t want to mess with. He had money; he had friends who shared his interests and were powerful in the government. They weren’t just his friends; they were dependent on his money and that made him notorious.

If there was someone unshakable in Hollywood, it was Daniel Schmidt.

Judging by Marcella’s reaction, Tony could say that Daniel might have had his foundation shaken that night. He saw it in her eyes that she was not willing to back off. Like he did, she had figured out what was going to happen to her friend in there. She was too much like her father in that aspect and she wouldn’t allow her friend to be abused by that greedy pig.

If he had to decide, he would leave this place immediately. He would never like to cross paths with the likes of Daniel Schmidt. He wouldn’t want to be seen with him; he wouldn’t want his help even if he was dying out of thirst in the middle of a desert and Schmidt had a bottle of clean water. He’d rather die than be helped by Schmidt.

On the other hand, he wouldn’t want to antagonize that pig either. That pig likes the muddy swamp he rolls in and Tony wouldn’t want to get dirtied in there. Yes, he has blood on his hands, but he cannot wash away his blood in raw sewage.

Another thing was that, although he was a pig in his opinion, he was hailed as the dragon. Yeah, he was called the wolf and his wife dearly calls him an eagle, but he was in no way comparable to a dragon.

He’d rather leave.

Tony was in a dilemma. He can ask his wife to not deal with whatever that was going on in someone else’s life as it would make their life ugly. She probably would understand him and do what he asks of her. She was not that irrational.

But she will not forgive him, just like she hasn’t forgiven him for choosing to protect her over her sister. She would hide it in her heart and box it up along with the feelings she had boxed up for her sister.
