Chapter 143: The Surprise
Tony waited for her to drop her dress.
Marcella saw that his patience was waning thin. As she got enveloped by the lust in his eyes, her hesitation flew away. To see the want in her husband’s eyes is what any woman would want. She decided to tease him a bit.
She turned to the side and slowly got the dress down while carefully covering her chest. She heard his audible disappointed grunt. With her knees crossed and chest covered artfully, she turned her face at him. Her hair covered her chest as if it had its mind on its own.
"Birdie..." he held out his hand. The nerves on his forehead were popping and she could see that he had lost his patience.
She raised her brows with a teasing smile.
"I’m burning... Anymore of..." he pointed at her looking for words. His deep voice was shaking as he tried to control himself.
Marcella pressed her lips to hold her smile. She didn’t think she would feel this powerful to tease her husband. He knew the power he held. In just five minutes he solved something that took hours for her to even get close to solving. His presence held that authority, his position held that power that makes men with power rethink their decisions.
And yet... here he is... naked, in a bathtub, almost begging her, just to have a look of her, to allow him to touch her...
All she had to say was no. And that mysteriously powerful man will have to douse his burning desires and curl up on the bed like a pitiful puppy.
